Chandler (from our "Friends" naming batch) is a fabulous length of Sapele, a dense, dark, straight-grained wood from Africa. "This Day Is Yours" seemed like a good use of the light-colored sweep of sapwood at the bottom.
The lettering is maple, raised 1/8" off the face for dramatic effect. The pointer is maple, to match, in our favorite tree-of-life style.
Chandler is 60" long and 15" high with pointer. He is in no way understated, but magnificent from left to right!
