Hatshepsut is a remarkable find! Olive trees grow for 2,000 years and develop the wild grain you see here. But we don't usually see the bark still attached, and it's even rarer to get a live edge top and bottom.
The large clear area sets off the raised walnut lettering well. The grain wraps nicely around the corners. And there's a striking figure on the right-hand end piece.
Hatshepsut is 40" wide and 13" high: large and dramatic. Consider your space: she deserves a setting fit for a Pharaoh.
