The rare new thing

Amanda Mull’s recent Atlantic essay suggests that today, almost everything we see for sale comes from automated production systems and forecasting systems.  “…when enough brands and retailers begin using these inventory tactics and trend-prediction methods, the results homogenize over time.”  Spotify, for example, delivers tunes that it knows you’ll like: safe and proven, but nothing new and interesting  

Creativity is becoming a lost art.  But at Linear Clockworks, we’re an exception. We’re proud to make something that is genuinely new, truly creative, and utterly unique. 

And drop-dead gorgeous.
