Gallery Sales Aids

Hi! Here are some things that I have seen make sales. I hope they work for you!

  • You can tape the ”Yes, It’s A Clock!” hangtag to the inside lower edge of the clock. Without it, many people just see an unusual piece of wood with numberson it, shrug, and walk on. The hangtag makes them stop.
  • The “What if Clocks Made Sense?” is great at selling the concept. I’d frame itand hang it near one of the clocks.
  • Demonstration Mode will definitely get your customers’ attention! See the handout on how to turn that on.
  • What Happens at Midnight” helps you answer the most common questions - and a few others. Intended to live at the sales counter, as a reference.
  • The “Store Copy” User Guide is something customers can read, to convince them that this odd new thing is real and really works.
  • They love the clock but hate the pointer? We can make a different pointer and ship it to you or your customer, no charge.
  • Anniversary? Birthday? We’ll engrave a 1” x 3” brass tag and send it to you or your customer. Peel the backing off and stick it on anywhere.
  • You can always take 10% off the price if that helps you make a sale. You don’t need to ask me. Pay me my percentage of the reduced price please. I love Venmo, by the way, and I’m Lindsay-Morris-59 there.

Final note: Nobody’s going to buy a strange new clock if it’s showing the wrong time.

Curious customers may pick up the sled, then put it down showing the wrong time. If you see this, please pick it up and set it down at the right time. Also, if the sled bumps into something, that will throw it off. To make sure it’s clear to travel back and forth, press and hold both buttons for 5 seconds, place it back at the 6 AM spot, and let it run back and forth.

Let me know how else I can help. Thanks for carrying my clocks!
