Our Resin River clocks, similar to River tables you may have seen, add a river of poured resin color.  We make two styles:

Surface River

The river is inlaid flush with the wood surface - we route out a curving channel and fill it with swirled, two-color epoxy resin (often with mica for a sparkle effect). The result is smooth to the touch with the river flowing seamlessly across the clock face.

Visual effect: Elegant and integrated - the wood and river sit at the same level, creating a refined, cohesive look.

Through River

The river is carved completely through the wood. We fill it with layers of colored and transparent resin, creating depth.  The lettering is inlaid within the river, and appears to float in mid-air above the swirled color below.  The whole process takes about 9 days.

Visual effect: Dramatic and dimensional - you get striking depth with floating elements suspended in crystal-clear resin.

Both styles feature our signature two-color resin swirls with optional mica sparkle. The difference is all about depth and drama.
