Amber is a beautifully figured length of ambrosia maple, prized by woodworkers.The Ambrosia beetle bores tiny holes and tracks in a fungus that grows into the stripes you sees. We sculpted a curvy lower edge as a nod to its natural origin.
The walnut pointer contrasts well against the clock face. We resin-inlaid the letters and numbers in jet black.
Amber, in the 3-foot version, is 40" wide and 8" high: perfect for over a door or window - cool enough for anywhere else! The 5-foot version is 60" wide and 10" high.
This Ready-to-Assemble clock uses flat-pack furniture connectors for the standoffs. Assembly takes 5 minutes.
