We made Bartolo from a slab of Bocote, a species from South America. The striking zebra-like stripes and many small "eyes" in the grain are the striking feature here. We use a simple light-maple pointer, both for good contrast and to avoid competing with the clock face for your eye's attention.
The grain wraps beautifully around the corners. The lettering is jet black resin inlay.
At 40" wide and 12" high, Bartolo brings a jungle-cat vibe to your home.
