Carver's deep brown face is Chechen, from Central America. The natural lower edge, and beetle activity top and bottom, speak to his jungle origins. Chechen is like dark walnut only deeper and richer.
We resin-inlaid cream lettering to match the maple pointer, which has a swirled brown resin circle to complement the face.
