Claret is a richly colored length of Black Cherry, a favorite of woodworkers for its perfect grain and rich color, which darkens slightly over time. We made resin-inlaid lettering in Caribbean blue swirl. The pointer has a matching diamond in the same color.
We sculpted the lower edge in a gentle curve: a civilized hint at a natural edge.
At 40" long and 7.5" high, Claret will fit perfectly over a single door or window.
(RTA, Ready-to-Assemble clocks, use flat-pack furniture connectors for the standoffs. Assembly takes 5 minutes.)
