Danette: 3-foot Chechen / Resin

Danette is a luscious length of Chechen, a hardwood from Mexico.  The tightly pitched grain is amazing - wild and crazy - and we wrapped it perfectly around the corners. The coloring is exceptionally rich and dark, even for Chechen. The beetle activity on the sapwood lower edge speaks to its jungle origin.

We used an Acacia tree pointer, cut from Maple for good contrast.
