Diego: 5-foot Bolivian Rosewood / Resin

The lumber alone would be worth mounting on your wall: rich, dark, handsomely patterned rosewood. We retained the lighter sapwood strips top and bottom, and sculpted the lower edge for that rustic / cultured effect.

We used white resin lettering for contrast. We considered adding a resin river, but decided to let the lumber stand on its own. The maple pointer uses a brown and copper resin circle, reflecting the rosewood color.

Diego is 60" long and 17" high. he'll be a handsome and commanding presence in your great room!
