Myrtle: 3-ft Maple / Walnut

Myrtle is a deeply spalted maple board with nice figuring and a live bark edge.  We rabbeted in Walnut standoffs to go with her raised walnut lettering.  We thought a tree-of-life pointer would be a nice complement to the live edge. 

At 40" long and 7 1/2" high, Myrtle will fit over most single doors and windows well.  Or use her as a striking, somewhat rustic, conversation piece over your mantel if you wish.  She's happy to be seen!
