Picana, an exotic hardwood much like Bolivian Rosewood, has extremely rich and dark heartwood, and a sharply defined sapwood edge. We left the lower edge natural to respect his jungle origin.
The maple pointer contrasts well for readability. We added a resin circle complementing the heartwood color.
