"Emerald Isle is located along North Carolina's Crystal Coast just south of the Outer Banks. A favorite vacation spot for many, Emerald Isle offers a family friendly beach with world-class seafood with Morehead City nearby. Because the beach faces south, this island offers both beautiful sunsets and sunrises. On this particular early summer morning, I found a fresh path though the seagrass and dunes. The sky offered beautiful clouds highlighted by soft pastel blues, purples, and lavenders. The sun came through for a few minutes from the east to highlight the cresting waves and flowing seagrass."
