Collection: Sanderling Tide Clocks

Sanderling tide clocks, developed on request over the past year,  are 100% accurate no matter where you live. And they are beautiful!

Most tide clocks guess.

They rely on basic lunar cycles, which can be off by 30–90 minutes thanks to wind, pressure, and tricky coastal geography.

Our tide clocks don’t guess. They connect to NOAA—the official U.S. tide authority—and show the real high and low times for your exact beach, updated daily.

The display shows your whole day at a glance. High and low tides appear as bars (blue for high, green for low) along an LED strip, gently rising and falling in brightness, with the peak marking the exact moment of each tide. A small pulsing dot shows the current time.

At night, the display dims automatically so you can still see it without lighting up the room.

The photography:Splendor of Light by Brent McGuirt

Choose from our collaborator Brent McGuirt’s Carolina Coast series, capturing the Carolina coast at its best. His radiant and luminous work can stand alone - we encourage you to acquire a piece from his website, whether you want a tide clock or not! Our current options are below, but we're happy to make another one from Brent's collection.

Sanderling gives you a full-color, high-resolution photograph mounted to a rigid board. 40" x 7.5"  Unframed - we won't try to guess what will work in your home. Expect about $100 to frame it.

Setup

Plug it into any wall outlet and you’re set—no batteries, no charging. It handles daylight saving time automatically. We give you neat cord covers too, no extra charge.

Setup takes about five minutes: connect to WiFi, choose your NOAA tide station, and you’re done. After that, it just works. Details in the User Guide. Enjoy!
